UNS S34700 Foils primarily consist of iron, with key alloying elements including 17-19% chromium (Cr), 9-13% nickel (Ni), and 0.75% niobium (Nb) to enhance resistance to intergranular corrosion. It also contains small amounts of manganese (Mn), silicon (Si), carbon (C), sulfur (S), and phosphorus (P). The mechanical properties of 347 foils include a tensile strength of approximately 520-720 MPa, yield strength of around 205 MPa, and elongation of 40-50%. It exhibits excellent weldability, thermal stability, and resistance to oxidation, making it suitable for high-temperature and corrosive environments.
