Stainless Steel 253MA Channel is a high-performance alloy composed of approximately 20-22% chromium, 4.5-5.5% nickel, 1.5-2.5% silicon, and 0.6-1.0% manganese. It also contains small amounts of carbon (0.03% max) and nitrogen, enhancing its resistance to oxidation and creep at elevated temperatures. The alloy offers excellent strength, with a tensile strength of around 620 MPa and a yield strength of 290 MPa. Elongation is typically around 30% in 50 mm. With high resistance to scaling and creep, it is ideal for high-temperature applications in harsh environments.
