Stainless Steel 347 Channel is composed of iron, chromium (17-19%), nickel (9-13%), and tantalum (0.10-0.15%), with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and carbon. The addition of tantalum stabilizes the alloy against intergranular corrosion, particularly in high-temperature environments. It has excellent oxidation resistance and can withstand temperatures up to 800°C. The alloy offers a tensile strength ranging from 520 to 720 MPa and a yield strength of approximately 205 MPa. Stainless Steel 347 Channel also has good weldability and formability, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications.
